THIS EVENT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED. With 25 Washington wineries featuring their new “exotic” varietals, such as Mourvedre, Cinsault, Malbec, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, Tempranillo, Cabernet Franc, Roussanne, Viognier and Albarino as well as some interesting blends, guest will be treated to the ever growing array of unique wines from around the State. Teatro Zinzanni artists will be on hand to mingle and entertain guests to a few random “exotic” performances from their current show, “Dinner at Waton’s”. Some culinary treats will also be provided from the TZ Kitchen. This festival of the exotic will be the perfect way to celebrate the last day of Winter in Seattle! Proceeds benefit ZICA- ZinZanni Institute for Circus Arts.

At Country Village, meandering paths lead you through a whimsical world of trains, duckponds, art, one of a kind toys, gifts, restaurants, antiques, and more!

Finish the day with a wine tasting featuring approximately 20 Washington wineries, each one located in a different shop throughout the village. Proceeds benefit the Northshore Performing Arts Foundation. Tickets are required for the wine tasting and can be purchased the day of, at the check-in booth, for $25. Each ticket includes 10 tastings. This is a “BYOG” (Bring your own glass) event. Must be 21 years of age for the wine tasting.  ID required at the check-in tent when picking up your tickets.

Signed bottles of wine will be for sale and available on site. What a wonderful holiday gift! You’ll love this wine walk as you wander through the festive shops, thousands of lights, and whimsical lit displays featuring our marching ducks, fiddling pig, forty foot serpent and lots more!

Guests Uncorked some of the Northwest’s finest boutique wines at the first of 2 Woodland Park Zoo’s Tasting Flight after-hours, adults-only wine event this summer. The event was held on the zoo’s picturesque North Meadow where 30 wineries poured their latest releases and attendees create their own flight of tastings.

Additional tastings, full bottles to joy on site or take home, and concessions from Lancer Catering were also available for purchase at the event. The evening included live music by Coco Loco, “Get Real Close” animal encounters, and an opportunity to take in the zoo’s award-winning Northern Trail and Humboldt penguin exhibits.

This event  features only dry Rose’ and interesting white wines…and no reds! Attendees will meet a variety of Northwest winemakers and taste their dry Rosé made in very small lots from Sangiovese, Syrah, Cab Franc, Tempranillo, Grenache, Pinot Noir! The event will also feature a wide array of delicious whites for summer, including varietals such as Prosecco, Pinot Gris, Viognier, Albarino, Gruner, & Pinot Blanc!  Ray’s will provide some tasty treats to accompany.

Proceeds from this event go to support Ryther Child Center. Nationally accredited, Ryther Child Center provides comprehensive behavioral health care to children and their families struggling with issues of child abuse and neglect, mental illness and chemical dependency. It’s baaaack! New varietals may be popping up all over the State but this event proves that Syrahs are still yummy and loved with their bold spices, rich fruit and silky texture! A vast array of Northwest boutique wineries invite you to come taste the magic creations they have made with Syrah grapes at one of the world’s hottest view restaurants—Salty’s on Alki Beach.

Salty’s Chef Jeremy will be whipping up an array of tasty appetizers designed to showcase Syrah’s outstanding affinity for food. Produced by Sommelier David LeClaire, of Seattle Uncorked and Wine World, and Salty’s Sommelier Tim O’Brien, this very popular eleventh annual event always sells out.   Almost 40 Northwest wineries will be featured and their Syrahs and Syrah Blends will be judged by a prestigeous panel of judges from the wine community.
